Hospital filled with great talented doctors. They saved my Dad countless times. Rooms are good, service is okay. They take opinions of customer and implement them if found valid. One thing they have not acted on is letting outside students have lunch in their canteen. Hospital staff, cleaning crew, patients and care givers gotta stay in line for long or go hungry or eat junk food as healthy food is over. This is serious matter. Please maintain it as hospital canteen and not restaurant.

My husband underwent a surgical procedure at Yenepoya speciality hospital and I am very grateful for the excellent care he received. A special mention must go to Dr. M. Vijay Kumar and Dr. Rohan Shetty. Their expertise and dedication were truly remarkable. Not only did they make sure that the surgery was performed flawlessly, but also took time to explain every step of the procedure and addressed our concerns with patience and kindness. Their skill and confidence gave us a lot of assurance. We would also like to express our appreciation to the anesthesiologist Dr. Thippeswamy, the Physician Dr. Nitish Bhandari and the Ent specialist Dr. Muhammad Tahir for their expertise and valuable inputs. All these doctors put us at ease instantly. Their humorous and uplifting comments went a long way in making our stay comfortable and in keeping us cheerful. The nursing staff is also very professional. They are a kind bunch. The post operative care was very impressive. They made sure that the recovery was smooth. The pharmacy staff made sure that the medicines and other disposables were provided on time without any errors. The house keeping staff also works hard to make sure that rooms and surroundings are maintainained and hygiene is observed. In short, from the time we checked into the hospital until we left, we have only good things to say. We have no hesitation in recommending Yenepoya speciality hospital for any medical issue.

I chose Yenepoya Hospital, Mangalore, for my delivery, hoping for a good experience -- but sadly, it turned out to be horrible. My baby boy was delivered here, and I would never recommend this hospital for childbirth. From the beginning, it felt like everything was planned for a C-section, with no genuine attempt or encouragement for a normal delivery. What shocked me even more was the post-operative care -- or rather, the lack of it. After my C-sec, there was no one around to help. Not a single staff member assisted me in standing or moving after the operation. At a time when I needed the most support, I was left completely on my own. It was an emotionally and physically draining experience that no new mother should have to go through.

Dr. Deepak Rai is not only one of the best doctors I've come across but also a genuinely kind and calm human being. He always has a gentle smile, listens patiently, and explains everything so clearly that it makes the treatment process very reassuring. His dedication and caring nature truly make him one of my favorite doctors. The overall experience at Yenepoya Hospital, Kodialbail, was excellent. From cleanliness to the professionalism of the staff -- nurses, housekeeping, and Dr. Rai's assistants -- everyone was extremely helpful and respectful. I had lost my gold chain during a chest X-ray. After searching for nearly half an hour without success, the radiology team, along with the security personnel, stepped in to help. Thanks to their efforts in identifying the suspect and conducting a thorough investigation, the chain was eventually recovered. I truly appreciate the team's dedication especially Navaneeth for his patience, optimism, and unwavering support throughout the process.

My 1st experience with Yenepoya was back in 2005 when I underwent a bone surgery post road accident in Bangalore. I was in my 20s and I was surprised by the love , care, support and compassion showed upon me by the hospital staff. This experience has made me a caring person in my life. Recently my mom underwent bilateral/ total knee replacement surgery. Both the cases surgery was performed by Dr. Deepak Rai. The surgeon with golden hands. Surprisingly Hospital has changed for good in past 20 years and they have perfected their service. In my life time of 37 years I have visited numerous hospitals and none can match the standards maintained by Yenepoya. Admission process is simple and straight forward. There are separate lifts for doctors , patients and visitors thus minimising the wait time and chances of infection. Each floor has 24/7 nursing and admin staff availability. Rooms are large with good ventilation and with a balcony. Almost all the rooms have view of the distant Arabian sea which calms the mind. With our 15 days stay here I have developed an attachment to the place. Housekeeping staff takes their job very seriously and put 200% effort in cleaning. They would clean the place twice a day. Clear all the garbage. Bedsheets are changed everyday. Whole corridor smells nice and kept spotless. Nuse and caregivers are courteous and very helping. Canteen food is good but can be bettered. One has ample food options around the hospital. I would suggest Yenapoya should tie up with many more insurance providers like New India Assurance so that corporate employees can avail cashless facilities. Billing and insurance section is very efficient. There are lots of options provided to repay the bills. Room rent is reasonable for the service provided. Doctors fee might vary depending on the procedure. This hospital is worth every penny we spend on our loved ones.

A well-managed hospital with excellent care under Dr. Deepak Rai -- highly recommended for TKR and orthopedic treatment. We recently admitted my mother at Yenepoya Specialty Hospital, Mangalore, for Total Knee Replacement (TKR) under Dr. Deepak Rai, and our overall experience was excellent. Dr. Rai is an outstanding surgeon -- professional, clear, and compassionate. He visits the patient once a day, but his PG team makes sure to check in during the evenings too. Both the doctor and his PGs were attentive, kind, and patient, answering even our smallest or repeated questions without hesitation. Their reassuring manner greatly helped my mother's recovery and confidence. Ms. Harshitha, the hospital coordinator, was efficient and approachable, helping us throughout the stay and with insurance reimbursement documentation after discharge. Physiotherapist Salaam was cheerful and encouraging, which made the daily physiotherapy sessions much more bearable for my mother. All the hospital staff -- from admission, billing, to MRD -- were supportive, making our overall experience smooth. The nursing staff of 5th floor were attentive and kind , and the housekeeping team maintained the room well. The room was spacious, and the canteen served good food at reasonable prices -- a big plus during the hospital stay. Cons: * Limited parking, which can be inconvenient for visitors. * Not all insurance providers are accepted, so do check in advance. * The patient cot was quite high, making it hard for my mother (who is short) to get on/off the bed. A stool was provided, but it was still difficult post-surgery. Despite these minor issues, we are truly grateful for the care and service provided. Yenepoya Specialty Hospital, especially under Dr. Deepak Rai's care, is highly recommended for orthopedic procedures and post-operative recovery.

I was brought to the hospital with emergency condition of heart attack and the swift actions at the hospital saved me to live again. Dr. Krishna Shetty cardiologist reached the hospital within 10 minutes to treat me and to carry out necessary procedures to stabilize the condition and his expertise reflected in the normalising of the condition with minimum time. Immediate actions by Dr. Tanyeem emergency physician, the casualty & ICU team are praiseworthy and gives lot of confidence to family members (in such dire situation) that the patient is at very safe hands. Staffs in ICU and ward are very professional, timely actions with all smiles. Staff dealing with insurance were sincere and helped in getting the claim cleared. Good hospital overall
