Dr. Dr. Shivananda Pai | Best Neurologist in Mangalore

Extremely disappointing experience with Dr. Shivananda Pai. This is a serious concern and I hope the clinic takes it seriously. During my visit, I asked a simple and important question about whether the medication prescribed contained steroids, as I'm allergic to them. Instead of giving a clear answer, Dr. Shivananda Pai responded very rudely. When I asked whether the painkillers were suitable for my case, he raised his voice and spoke to me in a harsh, unprofessional manner. As a patient, I have every right to ask questions about my treatment. His attitude was unacceptable and made me feel disrespected and anxious. I am sharing this so that others are aware and so the clinic can address this kind of behavior.

We had a disappointing experience with Dr. Shivananda Pai. While he may have years of experience, we felt that the most basic and essential aspect of a consultation -- listening to the patient -- was missing. My mother has been seeing him for a while, but time and again, we've noticed that he doesn't take the time to listen to her concerns fully. During the most recent visit, she had a few important questions, but the doctor seemed in a hurry and didn't allow her the space to express herself. This left us feeling dismissed and unheard, which is not what anyone seeks in medical care. Unfortunately, this has been one of the most unsatisfactory medical experiences we've had, and we've decided not to continue consulting with him.

I have noticed that Dr. Shivananda Pai receives unfair criticism, but I would like to share my personal experience, which has always been entirely positive. My wife has been his patient for years in Kasaragod, she was initially referred to him by a doctor in Pune and more recently, I have also become his patient. Dr. Pai has decades of experience in his field. His confidence and efficiency during consultations are extremely reassuring. He doesn't waste time. He quickly identifies the issue and provides an accurate diagnosis, which speaks volumes about his medical expertise. Most importantly, he genuinely cares about the well being of his patients. The quality of care we have received from Dr. Pai has been truly exceptional. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, experienced, doctor.

One of the best neuro doctor in the world . Trust me . My Aunt had severe head pain and suffered almost 15 years . she had nerves problem which was not curable and lifelong suffering according to other multiple doctor. I couldn't see my Aunt's suffering so once I said whoever doctor in this world treat my Aunt better condition than I will give him GOLD MEDAL . Dr. Pai deserve it .

Worst Dr. My mother got admitted in yenepoya hospital mangalore, while coming on round to check patient, not checking patient properly, no proper report, no conclusion, Yenepoya has a good name in mangalore hope they will keep good Dr in there team

Not a soft approach to the patient. Don't take enough time for assessment and evaluation. Don't want to listen to the patient properly. Diagnosis will be easy when the doctor takes time to understand the symptoms. But promised to take care of the illness.

Not worth, consultation for my father with him barely lasted a minute. He doesn't want to listen to us, or patient history. He doesn't have time to answer our questions as well. Really felt disappointed.
