Dr. Dr. R Purushotham

I had a deeply disappointing experience with this doctor, a cardiologist . Initially, he was polite and recommended an angiogram for my father, followed by an angioplasty. The procedure seemed to go well, and my father was discharged after just two days. However, within 10 days, my father experienced severe weakness, and we returned to the same hospital. Despite being admitted, the doctor failed to identify or communicate any heart-related issues during this time. It was only after 12 days of hospitalization that he informed us of a blockage, stating my father could not survive. Shockingly, even in this critical condition, he prescribed numerous unnecessary medications, adding to our distress and expenses. Tragically, my father passed away two days later. The lack of clear communication, delayed diagnosis, and questionable treatment decisions made this an extremely distressing experience. I would not recommend this cardiologist to anyone seeking reliable care.

Money minded doctor. 1st time I'm seeing such an attitude doctor. There's staff are very arrogant as if there are treating us, as we came for free treatment.

Dr Is very good but this rating is for the worst staffs.. So arrogant, they think they're everything over there.. that attitude of them will not work in the clinic.. some day they'll get their karma.. They need to be thrown out off that clinic.. and nobody should keep them as assistants..

Very Very worst doctor, My father was treated by Dr Purahottam for Angiogram and angiopalsty , and he convinced us that treatment will be 98% successful not to worry, but after 10 minutes his assistant came to us and said we are not able to save him as he went through heart attack. After that he says that my father's heart was weak. If my father's heart was weak then why he convinced us for the angioplasty treatment. He might have to give some medicine so that my father can live some more days. We had just went for the body check up and he did this to my father. Please dont consult him. It is my humble request to those who consult him.

He is the worst doctor in Mangalore. My dad was a heart patient. He had suffered a cardiac arrest in dubai. Dubais doctors tried there best and survived my dad but then in Mangalore most of them suggested this dr. Purushotham we thought he is good doctor. After few days my dad started vomiting so we took him to colaco hospital then this doctor told take him to AJ hospital. He didn't even come to visit my dad. He told his duty doctors to give him a sleeping injection without our knowledge after sometime when we asked why he isn't awaking that time they told they gave sleeping injection. After sometime my dad passed away.

One of the worst dr R Purushotham in AJ he is big greedy and he play with public emotion. I hope he have monthly target to generate revenue for AJ hospital and he will get commission in that. My father admitted for high BP and he was taking treatments for heart disease with him. so father recommended to visit him for routine check up. As per doctor advice we admitted him for BP issue latter duty doctor treated him with in 2 days he was passed away. No proper reason for my father death. All our family feel he is worst doctor and greedy. I request to all don't take your loved one to him for any treatment. he is not taking any responsibility so careless doctors.

Beware of this doctor. Irresponsible doctor and we lost one of our loved one by his irresponsibility. Doctors. Hospital's and referral all game of commision. Making others fools.
