Consulted Pediatrician. Very rude he is and wants to finish his patients list asap. Doctors should remember that ppl will be suffering already while they come hospital, that too with children. Kind words and behavior itself is healing.

Very bad experience from pediatrics doctor [male], - First of all infection control measures were non-existent, [ no sterile gloves, sterilized equipment or proper handling of consumables used for cleaning wounds like cotton or gauze] - The way he handled the infant roughly was nerve wracking to watch and shocking as a parent. - Doctor was rude and was not willing to ask or listen to child's parents - No seats in the consultation room - Next patient was inside consultation room before he even started with current patient - Any queries were answered rudely particularly when involving vaccination -honestly never expected such experience in a private hospital This is my personal experience and written with hope the hospital management try to improve the quality of care provided by their staff.

Had very bad experience consulting pediatrician here. Very much disappointed about the doctor's behaviour. Me being a doctor have never seen somebody behaving like him with patients. He treats babies like cattles. He used an otoscope which was just lying on his unhygienic bed. There is no habit of using sterile gloves, no sterile probes. Cotton he used was brought by some group d with her bare hands. He has no patience to listen to complaints or the history. Not more than a minute he takes for each patient. He puts no effort to talk to patient attenders and not a single second to calm baby. He creates trauma for babies with his rude aggressive behaviour which babies won't forget. And I haven't seen a consultation room with no chairs for patient party. This mindset of hospital itself reflects how much respect they have towards patients. It's a genuine advice to people to avoid pediatrician consultation here.

Disappointing Experience at Sri Devi Hospital, Kundapur I recently visited Sri Devi Hospital in Kundapur and was left disappointed with the overall experience. While the doctors were knowledgeable, the hospital's facilities and staff fell short of expectations. The hospital's atmosphere was chaotic, lacking hygiene, discipline, and professionalism. The nursing staff seemed inexperienced and unprepared. I was asked to pay 2,000 upfront for a cardiologist consultation, which felt more like a business transaction than a medical consultation. The cardiologist didn't take the time to understand my condition before recommending an echo scan. The pharmacy staff was also unprepared, unsure of the medications prescribed by the doctor. In contrast, my experience at Manjunatha Hospital in Kundapur was somewhat better. However, I would still recommend avoiding hospitals in Kundapur and Udupi, opting instead for Manipal, which offers better facilities and care. I got delivered in Sridevi hospital 6 months ago. My obstetrician and staff over there are good. Today I consulted a paediatrician for my son's problem.me being an Ayush doctor had medical knowledge and was clearing all my queries.Initially he was patient enough to listen to our problems but as soon as he got to know that we opted for government provided vaccination and not consulted him for vaccination he got so irritated and started scolding us infront of other patients though all the patients expect some privacy which is not seen in the opd he also said that our son will get polio in the future though it's eradicated now and he will definitely suffer later because of our negligence.is this the was to treat a patient? That too a new baby who is about see the life.if the government vaccination facilities are not usable then why will government promote it and also what will poor people do who cannot afford private vaccinations..please doctor think before you speak.. have some patience to listen to patients problem before giving solution

Very bad laboratory services, lab technician pricked my child four times to withdraw blood. Very bad billing snd Pharmacy service. Totally a mess.

Visited the child doctor ( Sudarshan Udupa ) for the H1N1 injection. The doctor is much interested in getting his list of patients cleared asap, he is not ready to listen properly to the health issues faced by the patient's, he directly jumps to advice. I have visited this doctor several times and every time I felt the same. I also felt that the charges are high here. As i feel he charges patients depending on how they have dressed up. This behaviour of doctor definitely not accepted or atleast i personally didn't like the way he behaved. As i believe a doctor's duty is to first properly listen to the problems faced by the patient and then give proper feedback. Hope the hospital management takes this as a feed back and work on it.
