The one & only best doctor I know, he saved my life and money. (Had multiple blocks) Without any procedure. Only time and medicine. Kind and friendly. May the Almighty bless him and his work. Also the BBH staff. Thank you sir,

My wife consulted Dr Thabit Ahmed today ( 20-05-2024). I accompanied her. It was a disappointing experience right from the start she underwent a healthcheckup at Anand diagnostic a week ago. The ECG showed occassional pvcs and short PR interval. We wanted to get it checked with a cardiologist and rule out any issues. The disappointment is towards the doctor approach with the patient and too much wait and false timing commitments by the staff. The actual plight is We took an appointment at 11:30am and the receptionist Arpuda billed and asked whether we have any previous report for which we said an ECG was taken a week ago at Anand labs and therefore we have come for consultation. So, the staff took the ECG report and went inside Dr's room. Within a minute, the staff came out and told us, get billed for ECG repeat test and Echo. I asked, the doctor hasn't consulted and yet you wanted to get diagnostic tests done. For which they said, by the time doctor does the consultation for awaiting patients, you can be ready with your reports. I mean which hospital or doctor recommends tests without seeing a patient. If this doctor indeed recommended the tests, then he obviously doesn't consider the previous reports credible and therefore must have recommended the repeat tests. Now we billed for both ECG and Echo and waited 3 hours as there were nearly 20+ patients waiting already. After waiting for 3 hours, finally at around 1:15 pm, they called my wife and performed the tests. The tests hardly took 10 mins and that's known. We had to keep asking when is our turn. Now another 1 more hour waiting to meet the doctor for consultation. First of all, the doctor doesn't know the basic courtesy, empathy and sense as to how to talk to a patient. My wife is a cardiac nurse and currently not employed. when she said Dr my previous reports says PVCs, Short PR Interval etc, he straight away asked how are you knowing all these terms. Okay, he didn't know that earlier. Shouldn't a patient be concerned or be a bit knowledgeable in terminalogies atleast ? Secondly, he saw both of us and straightway told we are unecessarly stressed and it's evident from my face. He even pointed that out literally. They way he kept staring at both of us especially while my wife was talking about adenomyosis, the renal calculi and ANA high values, he literally starting making assumptions and Judgements in his mind. He said just do whatever is essential and don't stress. I mean, who doesn't have stress these days. But what's the necessity that the doctor tells us on the face without understanding or knowing what kind of stress we might be undergoing in our personal lives. Then he says, even if you stress out there is nothing in our hands and he probably meant there is a supreme force in nature who controls what happens. If you believe so, let it be. It's your belief. But why endorse it on someone else ? I paid 2000 rs and expect good service and can't be thinking there is nothing in our hands He then says, we should pray. I mean, why do you want to keep suggesting unsolicited advice. The ECG report says it's abnormal ECG with some T and S wave or something abnormality. Shouldn't patient be concerned? Is being concerned or looking stressed wrong? Dr Tabit, please understand there is a polite courteous way to talk to patient irrespective of who the patient is ( whether educated or not educated or whether the patient is a nurse or someone who just googled the symptoms and came to you). Please don't take patients concerns lightly. There were symptoms and you just brushed off saying it could be gastritis or PCOD... Dr, you told us that there is no problems showing in the report. If you had calculated that PR values something 120 from the old Anand labs reports, why did you recommend repeat tests without consulting the patient at the first place ? Did you even bother asking what kind of symptoms is the patient having ? No absolutely not. Sorry, but we are extremely disappointed by the way you spoke...

AVOID Dr. Thabit Ahmed & Baptist Hospital Inexperienced Consultation & wrong Treatment. AVOID getting operated by him in BAPTIST HOSPITAL. Both are careless & money making people. If u want to see ur loved ones alive & don't wanna see your family die due to treatment by him Better Consult doctors & get operated by doctors from other hospital
