My 71-year-old mother was advised to undergo Mitral Valve Replacement (MVR) due to severe stenosis and dense calcification. My wife had to go open heart surgery with right valve repair/replacement at Manipal hospital old airport road Bangalore and she had operated by Dr.Devananda Sir, Dr.Murali Krishna sir and Dr.Lal Chand sir. Her surgery went well for the day and confirmed by Dr. But on second it was observed by Drs. again that there is some issue and water log and immediately they decided to take one more quick surgery. With these all struggle we stayed at 9 days in hospital and got discharged. She started walking before the discharge and now she can walk around 1 km per day and also claim the stairs at least twice per day.
