Dr. Dr. Anand R Shenoy | Best Cardiologist in Old Airport Road | Manipal Hospital Old Airport Road

First of all I would like thank Dr. Anand Shenoy for making us comfortable by explaining the case in easy words and then he explained his plan of action which really took off our fear and anxiety. Even having such a busy schedule, he planned for the procedure the next day. After completing the procedure he met in person and informed that everything went on well and after that I was relaxed. After few days we met him again for follow up and he once again made us comfortable by explaining about what all things we have to keep in mind for the future and lead a healthy life style. Thank you Dr. Anand Shenoy for your loving and caring attitude.

I actually took an appointment today and waiting for my turn. In the meantime I was just curious to see his reviews and looked at a rating of 1.8, I was like someone would have not got the right treatment or results that's why these negative reviews, but after experiencing by myself today in Manipal hospital, I can confirm, his maximum attention is on his cell phone rather then talking to a patient right opposite to him.

I am writing review this with a heavy heart to warn others about my deeply traumatic experience with Manipal Hospital and the care provided this guy who I don't want to call a doctor. Unfortunately, my father is no longer with us, and I believe his passing could have been avoided if timely and appropriate care had been provided. On the night my father suffered a heart attack, we sought help at Manipal Hospital, trusting the reputation of the institution and its doctors. However, instead of receiving the urgent care he needed, we were subjected to delays that lasted over 10 hours after admission. Despite agreeing to a costly procedure worth 25 lakhs, the focus appeared to be on financial gain rather than saving my father's life. I genuinely believe that my father's life could have been saved had he received timely treatment instead of being viewed as a source of revenue. The lack of compassion, urgency, and professionalism from the doctor and hospital left us shattered. I do not wish for anyone else to endure what my family and I have been through. Please exercise caution and carefully evaluate the care and ethics of any healthcare provider before trusting them with the lives of your loved ones. This is not just a review but a plea for accountability and transparency in the healthcare system.

Busy though, but quick and confident in his diagnosis. Very dispassionate and very caring. Dr. does not take chances. I don't care about the consultation fees nor the cost of the tests. Dr. just went by my symptoms and test results and provided me the best treatment for my heart problem. I'm quite relieved and able to get back to my normal routine in just a week's time

Attached prescription (original and reisued ) issued by Dr Anand to my elderly mother and I could not administrer this medicaition for 4 days waiting for clarification. Can any of you make sense of it ? SHAME ON YOU Dr Anand Shenoy and other unfit Drs, if you cannot respect or do justice to your noble profession , quit it ! Had to call and email Manipal Hospital Customer supprot several times to get the prescription reissued . check out the difference between the 2 and try to relate with the original .. As mentioned by others, I had the similar experience , where , Dr Anand was on phone all the time and did not ever care to listen / enquire.. Even he expressed his doubts whether he even attened to my mother. Did not check the history nor did he talk to patient , just wrote the crapy prescription and done we were out in 2 mins .. These reviews are not to name and shame, this is to educate others and to save themselves , Rs 1100/- is hard earned money and we will do everything possible , for best care we can possibilly provide to our loved ones ! I thought Manipal hospital to be synonyms to quality and care ... I am proven wrong I wonder howmany unfit Drs / dodgy Drs really get caught or license cancelled in India ? This happened in Nov 2024, hopefully , Dr Anand realises and changes his approach

One of the worst doctor ever meet. He only have degree and experience on papers but no expertise. Didn't bother to check patients history or hear out the problem. Just wrote some tests and without checking the test results wrote the medicines. He even said the pacemaker which was implanted 14 years back was not correct (I wonder howcome no doc in last 14 years has mentioned that and patient also never had complain related to pacemaker). He operate more of a astrologer then an doctor . Not recommended at all. Don't waste your heard earn money INR 1100 on this doctor.

All the reviews here on Anand being a terrible doctor is a 100% correct. Ended up going to him before reading the reviews. He unnecessarily caused panic and made the patient get admitted. Didn't answer any questions. Did an angiogram and put her on blood thinners. He wouldn't give answers as to why she was in constant pain even after a week of being on medication. It was clearly the side effects of the medication he prescribed. Finally after putting her through all that, he just said he didn't think it was a cardiac issue. I mean why has Manipal Hospital even employed such a terrible 'doctor'. Why does he even consult if he can't take 5 mins to explain things to a patient or listen to what the patient has to say about how they are feeling ?? He clearly just has a god complex! Please find a better cardio within the same hospital or outside but DONT GO TO THIS MORON FOR A CONSULTATION.

Worst ever doctor in Manipal. My dad had suffered heart attack twice already and he was fine, This doctor only performed procedure both the times. But we went for general consultation on 3rd March 2023, we did all the tests required. ECG ECHO and everything and he didn't say anything he said my dad was fine my mom asked the doctor twice if he is going to be fine because it's my wedding in a month ( his daughter) he said my dad is going to fine. Again on 30th March my dad suffered a massive heart attack with 100% blockage and he is no more now.. Only if this doctor had taken some precautionary measures or at least checked the reports properly my dad would be still with us and at my wedding. We go to such big hospitals with the hope that they will have great doctors but this is what happens. They don't care much because it's not their family. Never recommending Manipal to anyone. It's always about money.
