My Experience at Medica (now Manipal) Hospital, Ranchi My name is Ankit Jaiswal, son of Mrs. Lalita Jaiswal. Over the past 15 days, my mother had been experiencing 2-3 episodes of giddiness, prompting us to seek medical attention. Consultation & Diagnosis: We visited Medica (now Manipal) Hospital in Ranchi, where we consulted with Dr. Dhananjay Kumar (Cardiologist) and Dr. Deepak Chandra Prakash (Neurologist). Based on the evaluations, the doctors recommended a pacemaker implantation for my mother. Treatment: She was admitted under the supervision of Dr. Dhananjay Kumar on 22.04.2025. The pacemaker implantation procedure was successfully carried out, and my mother was discharged in stable condition on 24.04.2025. Hospital Experience: Doctors: Highly skilled, courteous, and patient--always taking the time to listen carefully and explain everything with clarity. Attendant: Mr. Rohit and Miss Rima, both co-ordinator of Dr. Dhananjay Sir and Mrs. Ankita, co-ordinator of Dr. Deepak Sir. All are very friendly and supportive. Thanks to all three of you. Nursing Staff: Compassionate, attentive, and highly professional in their care. Security Staff: Warm, helpful, and always wearing a welcoming smile. The overall environment of the hospital was extremely comforting and had a homely feel. One of the best hospitals I would say because it saved the life of my father. Dr Amit Kumar is a wonderful doctor and his coordinator Monalisa ma'am is really helpful and warm. She was also very approachable and supportive in the whole journey.

we went for full body check-up. we found it to be well co-ordinated. We were appointed a co-ordinator who managed things for us.. the whole team was always cheerful.. Shilpa , our cordinator was specially very active and readily available for all our queries. she was courteous and very active. I found the charges for the service to be reasonable. The doctors were good and explained very thing. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to visit here for health checkup

This hospital is still very mismanged. I have visited 5 times in July 25 and felt a lot of difficulties while opd treatment.there is a communication gap as well as co-ordination gap among all departments you have to wait for a long time for every procedure. There is a lack of Q management system in every procedures. yesterday I was told to come at 0900hrs for USG when I reported to hospital on time now I am being told that USG will start from 1100hrs. I am on fasting and still waiting for my turn to be announced. this is a pure honest and genuine review by me as a patient taken treatment over this hospital.

Just a feedback: The person in charge of the report collection counter needs to be made aware of the difference between blood and urine. Several tests including both blood and urine tests had been prescribed for my father. I had already collected the blood test reports and went today to collect the SPEP and Urine Microscopy reports. I handed over the two corresponding receipts and requested the reports. He asked if I had collected the blood reports, to which I replied yes, and I clearly informed him that only these two reports were still pending. He returned with only the SPEP report. When I asked about the Urine Microscopy report, he blamed me saying why did I affirm earlier when he asked about the blood reports. Please explain to him that blood and urine are two entirely different body fluids, and should not be confused.
