I recently had a great experience at Steel City Hospital in Jamshedpur. The cleanliness was top-notch, with thorough cleaning done three times a day--definitely a 5-star effort! The nurses were incredibly supportive and friendly, making the stay much more comfortable. The cabins are spacious and well-equipped, featuring comfortable beds for guests. I also had the pleasure of consulting Dr. Ruchita Shina, who is not only soft-spoken but also exceptionally kind. Her polite demeanor can put half the patients at ease! For minor procedures like appendicitis or baby deliveries, I would highly recommend this hospital. The medical staff is attentive, and the support services are efficient. Overall, a fantastic experience! I felt well cared for and appreciated the personalized attention throughout my stay. The hospital's commitment to patient satisfaction truly stands out. Reason I am giving 4 is some there some lack in some of the behavior of the doctors i have seen and also not properly discharged some of the patient. Rest of all its very fine

Extremely Disappointed with Steel City Clinic, Bistupur, Jamshedpur I had a very disturbing and unprofessional experience at Steel City Clinic. The ladies sitting at the reception have absolutely no manners or basic courtesy when speaking to patients or their attendants. Their tone is rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in empathy. What's even more shocking is that they decide whether to admit a patient not based on the urgency of the condition, but based on which doctor has referred the patient. If the referral is from a doctor they "prefer," only then will they arrange a bed -- otherwise, even if the patient is in severe pain, they will refuse admission. I am not writing this based on someone else's experience -- this happened to me personally. When I tried to admit a patient referred by Dr. Satish Kumar Prasad, the receptionist bluntly said: > "I will not admit any patient of Dr. Satish Kumar Prasad. Complain to whoever you want." Is this how a medical facility is supposed to treat people in need? Thankfully, I immediately took the patient to Meditrina Hospital, Adityapur with the same prescription written by Dr. Satish Kumar Prasad. There, the patient was admitted without any delay, and necessary treatment was started immediately. Thanks to Meditrina Hospital, Adityapur. Please note: In case of emergency, DO NOT go to Steel City Clinic, Bistupur. There are many other clinics, nursing homes, and hospitals in Jamshedpur -- go anywhere else, but not here. I sincerely hope the management takes serious action against such unethical practices before something worse happens.

Avoid Steel City Clinic, Jamshedpur - Unprofessional and Untrustworthy. We admitted a patient for maternity delivery here and paid an advance amount during admission. The entire bill was later settled by our third-party insurance. Even after more than a month since discharge, the hospital has not returned the advance despite repeated follow-ups. Holding on to patients' money without reason is unacceptable and raises serious questions about their ethics and management practices. If you are planning treatment here, be prepared for such financial delays and lack of accountability.

My experience with the delivery process was very disappointing. It felt like the hospital was more focused on performing a cesarean (C-section) rather than allowing for a normal delivery. There was no proper effort or encouragement given for natural birth. It seemed like they were only trying to push for a surgical delivery, which was very upsetting. This kind of approach raises serious concerns about patient care and ethics.

Poor service centre...the number uploaded on Google is not answering... No doctor available for regular checkup (fever & weakness) on Sunday evening...If doctors are not available on Sunday kindly update the timings or atleast respond to calls so that the patient will not have trouble coming to the clinic when he has weakness...this can hamper the trust placed by common public on Steel Clinic...
