Dr. Bokaro General Hospital

This hospital was a nightmare. The nursing staff were rude, lazy, and careless -- more focused on gossip than patient care. Most nurses seemed untrained and were nowhere to be found when needed. I had to call the doctor directly every time my father required help, as the nurses showed zero responsibility.The doctor was the only competent person; without him, things could have gone very wrong. Ward boys were either absent or pretending to be. Requests like fresh air breaks or changing bedsheets were ignored, and attendants were treated with shocking disrespect. Basic assistance often turned into arguments. Their policies are absurd -- allowing only one attendant per patient, then forcing them to leave during doctor rounds. This leaves vulnerable patients with no support or voice, which is both senseless and inhumane. In just two days, we experienced constant stress, frustration, and helplessness. If you care about your loved ones, avoid this place entirely.

This hospital is the best one for kids. My 2 months old son was admitted due to Pneumonia. He had trouble breathing and there was a complete lung congestion. I am thankful to the doctors and staffs who acted so promptly and gave the best treatment.

This hospital was an absolute nightmare. The staff was shockingly rude, lazy, and downright careless. The nurses spent more time badmouthing patients and chatting among themselves than actually doing their jobs. Most of them seemed completely uneducated and clueless -- and good luck finding anyone when you actually need help. If it weren't for our doctor -- the only decent person in the building -- things could have gone horribly wrong. I had to call him directly every single time my father needed something because the nurses couldn't be bothered. That's not just irresponsible, it's dangerous. The ward boys? Either missing or pretending to be. No one came to take my father out for fresh air, no one changed the bedsheets when asked. You're more likely to get into an argument than get basic assistance -- the way they talk to attendants is outrageous and completely disrespectful. And don't get me started on their idiotic policies. They allow only one person with the patient, but then kick them out during doctor visits -- leaving small children or elderly patients completely unable to speak for themselves. How is someone supposed to communicate their needs without support? It's absurd and inhumane. My father was there for just two days, and it was two days of nonstop stress, anger, and helplessness. I've never seen such a pathetic excuse for healthcare. Avoid this place if you care even remotely about your loved ones.

Please avoid this hospital. This has been one of the worst hospital experiences I've seen. While many government hospitals offer good treatment and care, this one has been terrible. My grandmother (Dadi) was admitted here for burn treatment. At the time of admission, the doctors insisted we must not take her out during the course of treatment, and only then would they begin proper care. Now, despite her saying she's feeling better, the doctors claim her condition is worsening and are advising surgery. In short, this hospital seems more focused on extracting money from patients than providing genuine care. I strongly urge everyone reading this: Do not go to this hospital.

First of all I want to start with that if I had get to rate this hospital in negative I will wish to rate to infinity because this is not even to get rated. Now coming to medical treatment , The worsen they can treat a patient in any of their ward either in general or Ccu's . I'm heavily devasted what the doctor's had done with my grandfather. He was admitted to BGH CCU ward with severe disease like potts spine , Bedsore speshis first two days were good they told us that h is showing improvement which is a good sign but after that how they treated him what they had done to him God knows and after span of 3 days they called us and told us that they had to keep him on ventilator as the case has worsen and on the same day when the senior doctor visted in evening he told us that his reports are normal everything is normal but at the same day in night they informed us that we had to keep him on ventilator. And if I had to told about the doctor's behaviour it was more than the pathetic senior doctor their assigned junior all the doctor's are mannerless they don't know how to talk with the patient attendant in serious situation they all are just doing timepass their with all the nurses and colleagues and after their shift is over they just go to their house and sleep peacefully. They just want how fastly a patient dies and their money machine which is their beds and their failed , old , unreliable equipments. I will suggest everyone please do not let your patient or anyone get treated in bgh until and unless if you are having small disease like fever , stomach pain etc. I want to mention the doctor's name also but there are some boundation so that keeping in my mind I'm not doing that .

Absolutely disgusting experience. Rude nurses, filthy washrooms with broken taps and no soap, torn blankets, and beds that belong in the trash. This place is a disgrace. Patients deserve dignity -- not this mess. Shameful.

Doctor timing is 8 am in the morning People above 60-70 majorly waiting from 8 am and it's 9:30 still the respective doctors are not in there cabin. It's highly disappointed how the management of this hospital has been degrade down. Not recommend anyone here. When I was a kid I used to come with my father for checkup. After 10 years I am visiting this hospital I really disappointed and wanted to argue with the attendant here. But then there is no point after all it's a government hospital. Barking at this hospital has no point. @bgh management I request you to please look into the doctors timing if it is told the timing is 8 am ask them to come on time otherwise giving 1-2 lakhs or more than that and allowing them to come at their own time is really not a good thing otherwise waste that money in making the BGH hospital same as CMH Vellore hospital Thankyou no grudge but I am very punctual and I cannot wait for people.
