Dr. Barkakana Junction

Very peaceful railway station. Almost has all the basic amenities but located slightly in the outer area of the city Ramgarh.

It's a nice and clean station . AC waiting rooms are also available for male and females .

Purely a station built for railway purposes. Not much in terms of passenger amenities inspite of it being an important halt for trains passing through it including for reversals.

Very small station, need lots of improvement. When rains then water leak from roofs, washroom are very dirty and tiles are broken, platform are not well maintained. Required cleanness and no WiFi networks are available. Total 5 platform are here.

The station was well maintained and some of the platforms are under constructed...variety of foods are available on this station

Superclean, peaceful and one of the beautiful railway junction ,usually in India you will see railway station is generally noisy ,too much crowd but here you will notice completely opposite. Every facilities are almost available here Like: 1st class waiting room Male and Female both 2nd class waiting room Toilets Food court No. Of platforms are 5 And 6 km from Ramgarh city.

Retiring room - If you are looking for retiring room at Barka kana station ...there is 1 room at platform 1 which they called it as retiring room with attached bathroom...Room and Bathroom both are very dirty, unhygienic untidy lack of facilities no electricity old bedsheet and blankets...In the room everywhere there are cockroaches lizards and earthworm ...Bathroom are also very very very dirty ...Bad smells are coming from everywhere from the room and bathroom...In the Bathroom No one is able to bath or even try it's water for toothbrush... In my opinion there is a big no to this retiring room ...One can go and stay in hotel in ramgarh which is just 6 km from the Barka kana station... It is the Main station of Ramgarh...

Quite a good junction. Clean, beautiful with less tracks ,but has a great connectivity to big states . Nice view , won't get bored here while waiting for your train.
