Dr. Government Regional Hospital, Solan

This hospital is located near to the rajgarh road , kotla nala, solan. This is tough crowded with people but i must acknowledge that the foctors are really humble and pay heed to the cries of their patients. Good doctors n good facilities and people really prefer visiting it more than private hospitals.

The condition of this hospital is very bad, it should be closed. I have seen a hospital where the staff is not available on time, even if someone dies it does not matter.

Unhygienic condition of toilets and most of attending or assistant staff is unskilled trainees from different local Institute. Even, speed of injecting glucose depends on changing shifts of concerned ward sisters. Long lines for depositing fees having different tests can be usually seen. Being a sufferer I better known I was even discharged by Doctor of concerned ward after advising to have medicine at home without knowing my condition. Thanks to almighty I myself took initiative and after taking other opinions admitted next day at MMU College and Hospital, Kumarhatti and got my treatment of Liver Abscess there.

This is the main reason why people's prefer private hospitals.hope govt think about this problem

Govt hospital all over himachal need at least 4-5 times the staff available right now. Waiting time is 4-5 hours. There must be separate doctor for senior citizens. Pregnant ladies too are miserable in these hospital. Hospital need a major attention of Govt. Privatisation shouldn't be the only option.

Worst ever hospital I would say... Specially lady doctor or I would say an illiterate doctor trainee in gynaecology department.... They have made my pregnancy a horrible nightmare..... My date was one day overdue I was having no labour pain.. I have gone to hospital just for checkup... Dr. Mittal senior gynaec he has told me to admit... Doctor trainee without my consent done my water burst nd I was like she is just checking internally... After bursting she informed me she has done the water burst... Bluddy doc... And after that I got delivered by nurses over there ... Nurses or i would say worst staff I have ever met ... They have done delivery so pathetically... My baby got into respiratory distress.... What above that they didn't even tell us that pediatrician is not there neither doctor not nurses... Due to which theyhad referred my few hours baby to igmc... Not my baby only but they had transferred two or three babiesfrom govt. To private or igmc... Buisness running between govt. And private hospital .. i trusted on govt. Hospital just bcoz these days private running a buisness of c- section deliveries.. just to avoid that I have opted for govt. Hospital ... But I would say dnt trust on govt hospitals too this time as govt. Private running buisness of spoiling patients life these days by seeing their status .. and mid wives also in govt. Hospital take money from us a under the name of shagun .. as one more delivery happen there but midwife didn't ask from them anything

The doctor in emergency ward didn't check the patient even their previous reports, and when they take the blood sample to the laboratory for the various blood tests they even lost the blood sample of the patient, and when the report came after a full working day the reports. the doctor in emergency ward is giving different statement or quite repellant from the blood reports.

No facilities for pregnant women in this hospital. behaviour of doctors with patients is non cooperative. They will suggest their patient to go through another private hospital.
