Dr. Royal Hospital

Pathetic services. Been waiting for 3 hours for an urology appointment in the OPD. They don't have parking space. Apparently you need to take of your footwear to enter the hospital, as per infection control protocols you can ask people to take of their footwear in the critical areas where you provide them with footwear. Here they make you roam bear foot in the entire OPD, emergency, registration and billing area!! It's a hospital not a clinic where footwear should be removed !!! Poor services. Management can definitely do better

I visited your facility today around noon due to stomach cramps caused by heavy exercise. I truly appreciate the prompt medical attention and the quick service I received -- thank you for that. However, I would like to bring to your attention a matter that was quite concerning. While in the casualty department, I observed that some of the lady doctors on duty were discussing patients amongst themselves in an unprofessional manner -- making jokes or laughing at the patients who came for treatment. It was disheartening to witness this, especially in a place where people come in pain, expecting empathy and respect. While I understand that healthcare professionals deal with numerous cases daily and may become desensitized over time, it's important to remember that for each patient, their pain and concern is very real and personal. A more compassionate and discreet approach would go a long way in preserving the dignity and emotional comfort of those seeking help. I hope this feedback is taken in the right spirit and necessary steps are taken to ensure patients are treated with the utmost respect and care at all times.

Hospitals and doctors have always been my greatest fear until I reached to Royal Hospital for my dad's(Joaquim Da cunha)health conditions . The nurses treated us like we were their own from day1 and we actually knew no one personally both in ICU and normal ward . Our doctor , Dr. Shailesh Kamat is such an amazing doctor(very hardworking) and a person with clear conscious , always willing to go above and beyond just to make sure his patients are better and getting better in health every single day . He is one doctor who is always on the run that's what I noticed Off-course I'm a firm believer that God is always in control but Doctors are also made by God so we need them too. Dr. Shailesh Kamat explained the process so well - in a manner that normal people can understand and it was all done so peacefully(sure put us all to ease) -this includes performing the surgery . We really want to thank-you for all your hardwork and patience throughout Doctor Shailesh . Also to the doctors on the rounds , receptionists and offcourse not forgetting the pharmacists they were all so wonderful and with a smile always. Thankyou God and the entire team of Royal hospital. The safest place to visit, esp. Dr. Shailesh very down to earth, soft spoken doctor, explains everything well, well experienced and very professional .I would say tht he is a Doctor with conscience, hard to find in these times where most of the hospitals and doctors are mostly concerned abt money. The staff and the nurses are very friendly.

It is my first choice for medical care in Margao. The nurses ,doctors have been very diligent in their duties, especially at night. I remember my father was admitted and it took me a good 16 hrs to reach the hospital but the hospital provided quick mobilisation from my house to the hospital . The doctors and staff ensured that he was put at ease while ensuring that he received timely medication.

Never ever trust this hospital, Worst experience, nurses are not trained to take care of toddlers , machines are not working, with wrong details, they don't know how to put cannula also. They don't know to mange patients, speak to relatives, complete negligence.

Worst experience. Please if ull have an ICU setup, please make sure ull have an experienced well qualified intensitivist and not just RMOs. The Ventilation of the ICU is v bad, strong food smell we noticed. AC ventilation is not as per the standards at all Not a good hospital for patients at all.. PLEASE CONSIDER...

Very bad service... even after taking prior appointment admitted patients are made to sit for hours... inspite of heavy charges the service provided is very bad... doctors are very good and humble but the other hospital staff needs to improve a lot...
