Dr. Dr. Rahul Prabhudesai (Chest physician/ pulmonologist)

A very painful experience. My husband was consulting Dr. Prabhudesai for cold-related issues for more than a year. During that time, many tests were done -- including lung function tests etc -- but not once was a simple chest X-ray advised. When we eventually took a second opinion, the new doctor immediately did an X-ray, and that's when a cancerous lump was detected. It was heartbreaking to realise that something so serious could have been caught earlier -- possibly saving his life -- if only an X-ray had been done. I am not questioning Dr. Prabhudesai's credentials -- maybe he is a good doctor. But what we went through was devastating. No other family should go through this, so I'm sharing our experience. Please ask questions, insist on basic tests, and don't hesitate to seek a second opinion.

Dr Rahul is a very knowledgeable chest physician. He is very attentive and explains very well He is treating me for my asthma and his attentiveness to detail is commendable. I would definitely recommend him.
