Dr. BALI CLINIC

Do NOT go here at all cost. Female doc on duty and nurses did not know what they were doing and ended up making what was a small wound worse by unnecessarily cutting it open since they did not have the right medical appliances. They were also using unhygienic appliances on a dirty leather bed with no hygienic cover, which was horrifying. We ended up refusing the treatment and walking out for fear of infection from the clinic.

HOPELESS. Just don't bother. There were completely useless. Some hints: 1. Get someone who can understand English speaking patients to answer your phones. 2. Make sure that the person answering phones has at least some idea about medicals. 3. Don't advertise it as 24/7 service when it's not. It's really more of a 24/7 booking service but that's not to say you can see a doctor outside standard business hours. 4. Have some medicine readily available at the clinic. You cost me a night of extreme gout pain. Thanks for nothing.

It is understandable that we as potential patients must follow the clinic's procedure, but you should have asked for more details about the patients' situation (e.g. what is the ETA that the patient can accept). You cannot just tell us how wait for an unknown amount of time, my friend might have died waiting to be treated.

I went to this Clinic in August 2024 after getting very ill with Bali Belly. The staff and Dr. were able to help me quickly, and they gave me 5 IV bags in addition to 7 medications to take home which included my antibiotics. While the staff and Dr. we're kind and they seemed to provide me satisfactory treatment that helped me feel better by the next day, there are some serious things wrong with this clinic that I want to make sure anyone who reads reviews considers before choosing to go to this clinic. They overcharge by a lot! The total fee for me to be seen for Bali Belly was $380 USD, where a different clinic in Ubud that I took my brother to during the same trip gave the same treatment to my brother for $110 USD. The exam bed and the treatment bed that I laid on were both extremely dirty. They had caked on dry disgusting matter on them and a lot of dust and I refused to lay on them until the nurses cleaned them for me. The beds are a leather like material and they do not use paper covers or bed sheets. The office was very hot and humid inside, and while I laid there for 5 hours receiving my IVs, I was sweating and sticking to the sweaty dirty hospital beds. Another concern is the nurses didn't cover the tip of the IV injection site while they were prepping me. My friend who has her doctorate in Nursing observed this and asked the nurses to cover it to avoid dust or bacteria getting into before they connected it to the catheter. The nurses had no idea what she meant and did not cover it, which exposed me to getting a bacteria infection. I would research reviews for a different clinic and go to a different one instead of choosing to go to this clinic.

Avoid it by all means! I was referred by my medical insurance company to go there. After the examination of 5 minutes (that was done by GP, not specialist as requested) they informed me that I will have to pay 45US$ since they are not cooperating with my insurance company. After 40 minutes of waiting (they took my passport) they finally received confirmation that insurance will cover the cost. Completely unprofessional!!!

Smooth experience (made appointment through my travel insurance). Receptionist, doctor and his assistant spoke good English, were polite and attentive. Did the examinations needed in my case, explained thoroughly what my treatment should be, gave the medicine carefully packed in the clinic labeled boxes with the take instructions written on each. Not sure about the prices, since it was all covered by my insurance, but the service is at a high level!

I chat by WhatsApp to know if I could come and do an X-ray because my hand is painful. Quick response and yes I could come. Appointment taken before the x-ray operator goes home. I do registration, then the nurse takes me to the ER room, I ask why take me to ER and not normal room? She then tells me the light is better here. I am starting to think of this is another scam for tourists but stay here. Then she wants me to explain my condition on video to send it to the doctor. I ask where the doctor is, and we tell me it's by appointment only... I mean what's the point for me to come and not see the doctor that will check me when i explain to them that I will come during their proposed time frame. You guys are seriously wasting people's time and should inform people that no one is here to consult with First and last visit here. I made the decision not to have any consultation and politely left.

Amazing little clinic. I had my first date with a girl who I was going to meet but she had just crashed her scooter and the little ambulance picked her up and bought her here. They were so nice and even gave me water while I waited for this girl I had just met. For her, not the best day but for me, a memorable date. They put the cast on her arm and were very caring. They even drove her back in the little ambulance for free back to where they picked her up from.Such a crazy experience I had to share a 5 star rating for my own memories and because so many people gave this place 1 star and complaining about prices. If you have insurance it's fine. Enjoy bali everyone
