Recently, I visited Queen's NRI (KIMS) Hospital and consulted with Dr. R. Srinivasa Rao, a neurologist. I brought along my old case sheet and MRI reports (1.5 Tesla). The doctor mentioned that those MRI reports were unclear and recommended I undergo MRI scans of the spine and brain with a 3.5 Tesla machine for better clarity. As KIMS Hospital did not have a 3.5 Tesla MRI machine, I went to Vijaya Diagnostics and paid 14,500 for the scans. On the same day, I was admitted to the hospital for 5 days. However, during my admission, they repeated the same MRI scans (1.5 Tesla) for the spine and brain, charging me around 35,000. This seemed unnecessary, and I felt it was a waste of money. Additionally, they repeated the NMO and MOG antibodies test, which I had already done a few months ago (with a negative result). They conducted the same test again (with the same negative result) and charged me 10,000. Once the test is negative, there's no need to retest, but they repeated it to generate more revenue. Next, I underwent a VEP test to assess eye response. The lab technician was unfamiliar with how to perform the test. She struggled to set up the VEP equipment and had to get assistance from someone in Hyderabad via a video call. Unfortunately, she was unable to complete the test due to a lack of knowledge. The next day, the same issue occurred, and they eventually informed me that the equipment wasn't working. Despite this, they billed me 5,000 for a test that was not performed, although I managed to have it removed from the bill. In total, I ended up paying 120,000 for all these services. Upon discharge, the doctor ( srinivasa Rao) prescribed some medications with the help of Dr. L. Rohith explained that Dyfira tablets might cause side effects like skin rashes. He gave me his contact number and asked me to inform him via WhatsApp or a call if I experienced any issues. A few days later, I developed rashes on my hands. When I returned to the doctors, they insisted the rashes were not related to the tablet side effects, giving me an allergy tablet and advising me to continue taking Dyfira until my next visit. Ultimately, I sought treatment at another hospital, where they stopped the Dyfira tablets because of side effects on me and prescribed new medication. Thankfully, the rashes subsided, and my symptoms are reduced now.

Recently I visited the hospital with my mom for some check and where we experienced the worst staff management . As the staff wasn't that much cooperative and helpful as for example a elderly person came and asked something she responded as she was asked to do his household chores . Like seriously who responds like that and actually which is so disgusting.atleast the staff should have trained properly to behave with some manners .if we asked anything which is like why is this taking so long or what should we do next, for that they used to respond in a very arrogant way nd say " WE HAVE BEEN INSTRUCTED AND RULES HAVE BEEN CHANGED NOW " ........ Like seriously if rules have changed then it should make easier for people not to make it hard for them . Your management ia being so arrogant disrespectful and also not being helpful If you feel like I am making up all these things, I really and humbly suggest you to stand in a queue near reception to know how exactly your management is being helpful and how they are fulfilling there responsibilities. I know they are also working and sitting entire day and doing all the work but they should have some patience and manners.they actually doesn't listen to what the other person is saying or want something else. They are making us feel like as hospital is for some business instead of taking care if them. I request you to kindly look into this or else it will become a serious issue later .

Didn't expect such a kind of below standard service at this hospital. 1. Firstly you'll Observe 2 counters at OPD for doctors appointment and you'll find huge Queues Everyday. I don't understand why the management couldn't able to start another counter to help the patients over there. 2. My aunt got admitted in this hospital with great difficulty by staying in queues for hours and paying the registration charges etc. 3. Oh Man the Room prices. I've not seen that much prices in a bigger corporate hospital than this. Single Room Non-Ac-Rupees 3600 huh??? These Guys want to just SUCK THE BLOOD OUT OF PEOPLE... What the Hell Man... We've opted for the sharing which is 2500 Rupees per day and you can see the pictures below the maintenance of the sharing room for 2500 rupees. What an Awesome maintenance. Hats off to this Hospital Management.

Run away from this hospital. After KIMS too over 4 months ago, cost of simple, less than one day admission exceeded 1.1 lakhs. Beware the cost went up after NRI is taken over by KIMS. Quality of treatment is poor and environment is highly unhygienic (could lead to hospital acquired infections).
