Got an appointment by phone for 10:30am. I reached the lobby to register myself, There was a huge crowd/line with tens of people. Waited till 11:15 am, skipped the line and reached out to a receptionist to ask if the line was intended to register, he confirmed it was. And he said the doctor hasn't arrived yet. And I was informed the doctor will see patients till 1pm only, and my token was 41. I still waited to register because there are atleast 20 people in the line to either pay some bills or register not sure what they are for. I decided to quit, cancel my appointment and left the hospital office for 3 reasons. 1. The doctor hasn't arrived till 11:30 not sure if he has other appointments. 2. Poor reception and lobby is a mess at cardiology department. 3. May be that is how the whole setup is and probably I am new to this experience. Not a pleasant experience to have a consultation with a doctor presumably the best cardiologist in vizag as told by Google. The patients are there for a paid(not free) service and Apollo hospitals wasn't a welcoming experience, unfortunately. I am surprised the doctor hasn't done anything to organize his surroundings to help patients have a smile while waiting for their turn.
