Visited Andhra Hospitals (Heart & Brain), Vijayawada for a medical emergency. Initial response was decent, but things quickly went downhill. Here's what you should know before choosing this hospital: * Emergency Ward: Night staff was aggressive, untrained, and disorganized. There was a 30+ minute delay just to shift the patient to MRI due to no stretcher and no nursing support provided. Basic items like a vomit tray weren't available patient was told to vomit into a dustbin. * Room Issues: We were told the cost was 7,500/day for a single deluxe room. After payment, they claimed insurance doesn't cover this room but finally gave it after escalation. The room itself was disappointing: AC barely worked, mosquito issues, no proper cleaning. The patient couldn't sleep due to the heat and discomfort. AC was only fixed the next day. * Hidden Charges: Final bill showed 9,500/day. When asked, they said 2,000 was for doctor visits , but this was never disclosed earlier and listed vaguely as "inpatient treatment charges." Feels deceptive. * Insurance Desk: We had to wait nearly 2 hours to meet the coordinator, who was away for with no notice. Poor internal communication. * Admin Delays: Everything is manual. Admission and discharge each took 2+ hours. They don't value your time. This place charges corporate hospital rates but provides substandard service. Some ward nurses were helpful, but management, systems, and overall care were a letdown. Think twice before choosing this hospital, especially if you're relying on insurance or expect professional service.

Overall treatment is too good but the bad staff. But one thing I don't know if any government employee is go to this hospital under insurance treatment one of the worst thing was the insurance company person telling like there are good stent 3 types 30k 40k and 50k like that and asking extra money if we don't take any thing also he is taking amount for surgical used in operation theatre but the surgical used in operation theatre is low in cost but the insurance person is charges above 5k amount so I request management to take action about insurance person for taking extra money if the management also think it above 5k then we request management to give the bill for the what the surgical items are used in operation theatre then we are happy to pay for that without giving bill and taking amount by people by insurance person is worst thing I noticed

Very bad and negligence staff,,they even don't take any proper care for cashless and insurance patients,,,they only take care who have pocket full patients to loot their money on spot,,even in pharmacy they don't have such medicines even after doctor prescribed medicine and forced to buy outside...and even they don't take care of patients in their ward/room ,,no one will ask about their health condition..staff in this hospital are half minded with no proper experience...the room incharge was very rude and not even have time to hear patients about their room amenities with simply charging 5500 ...and totally lack of doctors who can serve the patients to come and visit for rounds... totally this hospital is for only for heavy pocket patients who can spend lot of money for a simple medication....

Worst service and no proper timing response. Interested in taking money rather than serving patient. Doctor facility is good but staff and nurses behaviour is too bad and reckless towards patient and care takers. Intentionally charging for insurance cases.

My daughter 3 years old has underwent open heart surgery on March 14 under the guidance of Dr Vikram sir and Dr Nageswar rao garu .the surgery went very well she recovered soon and here staff hospitality is great maintainence is also very well

Doctor's treatment is very well, carrying patient is good, after surgery my baby is very well and active, so finally thanks to Dr.Vikram sir to andra hospital Vijayawada
