Dr. All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS), Mangalagiri

I recently visited AIIMS Mangalagiri, and my experience was excellent. The hospital maintains top-notch cleanliness, ensuring a hygienic and comfortable environment for patients and visitors. The food quality is great, and the treatment process is well-organized. The waiting area is spacious and comfortable, making it easy for patients to wait without any hassle. Doctors and staff are highly professional, polite, and caring, ensuring that patients receive proper attention and guidance. The availability of medicines is good, and the overall medical services are impressive. The hospital is located in a peaceful area, creating a calm and soothing atmosphere for patients. Overall, AIIMS Mangalagiri is one of the best hospitals with excellent facilities, great hospitality, and a well-maintained environment. Highly recommended!

New AIIMS at Mangalagiri is spead over a big campus still a work in progress. New medical facilities coming here up will help rural Guntur and Andhra Pradesh in general by providing free access to top notch facities.

Please keep in mind that this is a Central Govt Hospital. The entire facility is provided with centralized A/C. Some doctors and nurses do not know fluent telugu as they are from other states. Imaging such as ultrasound, CT, MRI are not done immediately. There is a lot waiting. Excellent facilities with brand new equipment are available. Lab tests, imaging, and pharmacy are available. Both inpatient and outpatient services are available.

I can't say enough good things about the Nephrology team at AIIMS Mangalagiri. My wife had a kidney transplant through the Jeevandan program, and the care she received was truly exceptional. Dr. Uttara Das, in particular, was fantastic - knowledgeable, compassionate, and always ready to answer our questions. The whole team made a difficult time much easier, and we're so grateful for everything they did for us. The level of care and hospitality we experienced was unlike anything I've ever seen. It truly felt like my wife was given a new lease on life. We were amazed that they didn't charge us anything for the treatment. It's rare to find such dedication and kindness, and we'll always be thankful to AIIMS Mangalagiri for their incredible support.

Excellent hospital infrastructure but poor patient management. All most all speciality are included. Met young doctors who are eager to serve the people. I like their way of consulting with each other in the form of team work. Sharing medical knowledge and diagnosing to come to a solution. How are the outcome or results from such hospital is to be known. One more best part is the central air conditioner sytem for the public. And enough seating for patients visiting hospital. Compared to private fees here is 10 rupees, might be this is the reason for such poor patient interaction. Why cant the patient's be seated and enter the doctor's cabin when their number is called!! Why 2 queues formed one inside the doctor cabin and another outside the cabin!! If management also behave like ignorant public surely it will be like fish market. Went for lunch but have to plan to take in mangalgiri town itself. Very long queue, no further comments on this.. Such excellent resources somebody needs to utilize at their best level and surely with education and awareness it will be world class.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Mangalagiri is a premier medical institute serving in the region. For OPD, patients can install an app through which they can get a token for an appointment online which will allow hassle free entry by submitting their details. Appointment costs 10. It is sparkling clean, the crowd is also well managed.

I went to hospital at 9 am for endocrinology and cardiac consultation. They told they are seeing limited patients and quota for the this day is over and advised to come next day. This is very bad . We came from long distance. The quality of service becoming poor comparative to previous years. Patients had to visit hospital 3 or 4 times for consultation. We request you to improve the service.

Visit as early as possible for quick process. For OP, better visit by 8:30-9:00 and get a token and wait till they call and pay 10/- fees. Highly Qualified Doctors. As all know, Institutions under Central Govt will always have the high bar.
