Dr. Guntakal Junction Railway Station

One of the cleanest, well maintained railway station we have seen so far. Its standard matching with an airport indeed. I wish all Indian railway stations follow that.

Cleanliness: The station is well-maintained with regular cleaning. The platforms are free from litter, and the waiting areas are tidy. Connectivity: Good rail connectivity to major cities and nearby towns.

This Junction is a quaint and pretty little station that serves as one of the major junctions in the area. It's well-maintained and offers a nice atmosphere for travelers. However, be aware that there are quite a few monkeys around the station. While it's not a huge issue, it can be a bit distracting at times. Overall, it's a good spot for a quick stop and has a charming vibe to it."

Guntakal Junction is a major railway hub in Andhra Pradesh, and it shows in both its connectivity and footfall. The station is fairly well-maintained given the traffic it handles. Platforms are spacious and announcements are clear and timely. Basic amenities like waiting rooms, food stalls, and restrooms are available, though cleanliness can be improved in some areas. The station layout is convenient for changing trains, and staff were helpful when I needed directions. Overall, a functional and important junction -- could use a bit of modernization, but it gets the job done efficiently

Guntakal station has been built very beautifully. The station was very clean. Looking at Guntakal station it seems like it is an airport.

For a moment, I was a bit puzzled when I was exiting the station. I felt I was in an airport. The station is a direct replica of a domestic airport complete with amenities, facilities maintenance and the overall view. One of the best railway stations I had come across. The entry was a pleasure and I preferred to wait here happily for my connecting train which was more than an hour away. Really impressed. Thanks to the Government for bringing about visible development and making a happy experience to rail passengers.
